I purchased a number of succulents and cacti recently from all over Cape Town. Many of these plants aren't always cared for well by the nurseries. With view of fixing... read more this, I found Living Desert Plants whilst looking for good soil mixtures. I requested that Harry please consult me on all the plants I purchased, including having a look at the area's where I'd most likely place them to ensure that they are cared for correctly. He assisted me with sorting them into types, and seasonal growing groups. He also consulted on the area and the grow lights that I may need to purchase. He is very knowledgeable and the advice is very useful. I have not purchased plants from him as yet, but there are wonderful examples to choose from that you'll battle to find elsewhere. He also understands the concept of hybrids for those that are inclined on their collections that way. The soil mediums I purchased from nurseries are terrible and the ones Harry mixes are working like a charm! I will not be using anyone else from here onward.
