Where it grows
This Adromischus occurs in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
Adromischus cristatus sports dark green leaves with wrinkled, crinkly leaf tips. It forms dense mats over time.
Semi-shade is preferable for these Adromischus, and they do well under 40-60% shade cloth. A sandy soil mix that drains quickly is preferred for these plants and their fibrous root systems. Water throughout the whole year, but particularly in spring and autumn.
