This is a variegated specimen of Astrophytum myriostigma. The variegation is a faint hued yellow colour covering the entire stem.
This plant was grown from seed in South Africa, and has never been imported or grafted.
Care Guide
Astrophytum are not difficult to care for. This genus prefers light shade, but can be acclimatized to full sun. Plant Astrophytum myriostigma in a gritty soil mix that drains freely. Water it well in spring and summer, but keep dry in autumn and winter so that it can have a rest period.
