Where it grows
Native to Arizona in the United States of America, specifically to the Sonoran Desert.
Special features
Carnegiea gigantea, or the Giant Saguaro Cactus, is the most iconic species of cactus. It can grow to reach heights of up to 12 meters or more, and produce multiple stems or ‘arms’.
Care guide
These cacti need plenty of light and should be planted in full sun to simulate their natural environment. They are incredibly sensitive to overwatering and should be planted in a gritty, fast draining soil mix that does not hold much water. A mix involving Akadama and pumice is ideal. Water often in summer, but keep completely dry in winter.

Spring and summer.
