Where it grows
The natural, non-variegated form of Cotyledon undulata is native to and widespread throughout South Africa.
Special features
The variegated form of Cotyledon undulata has grey to green leaves which can have a powdery surface, and are tinged with golden yellow to white variegation. These plants can grow up to a meter in height.
Care guide
This plant prefers plenty of light, and should be kept under no higher than 40% shade cloth. It is not fussy about its soil mix, as long as it contains plenty of organic material and drains well. Water it throughout the year, making sure that the soil dries out before watering again. Reduce the amount of water during winter.
