Where it grows
Crassula tecta occurs in the Little Karoo region, between Montagu and Steytlerville.
Special features
Crassula tecta has beautiful, scale-like leaves that are covered in very fine white cilia (‘hairs’). These cilia are what give it its silver appearance.
Care Guide
Crassula tecta prefers lots of light and should be kept under no more than 40% shade cloth. It is not too fussy about it’s soil, as long as it drains well. It can be watered year-round, but care should be taken not to overwater in winter, and not to water on hot days in summer.
