Where it grows
Horticultural hybrid of Echinopsis chamaecereus that does not occur in nature.
Special features
Echinopsis chamaecereus hybrids form large clumps of elongated stems. These plants can have either pink, red or orange flowers.
As these plants are all seed grown, their appearance may differ somewhat from the photo. Some are more compact, while others have slightly longer spines.
Care Guide
These hybrid cacti need plenty of light and should be planted under 40% shade cloth, at most. The more light they receive, the more often they will flower. They are sensitive to overwatering and should be planted in a gritty, fast draining soil mix that does not hold much water. A mix involving Akadama and pumice is ideal. Water often in summer, but keep completely dry in winter.
