Special features 

Gymnocalycium damsii is an attractive globular Gymnocalycium with thin, five spined thorns. These particular specimens have striking yellow variegation covering a large portion of their stems.

Care Guide

Gymnocalycium is not a fussy genus of plants. It prefers plenty of light, and should be kept under at least 40% shade cloth or be given full morning sun. Plant Gymnocalycium in a gritty, well draining soil mix with mostly inorganic components. Water it well in spring and summer, but keep this cactus dry in winter.
