Gymnocalycium denudatum occurs in South America, mainly in Brazil and Argentina.  

Special features

Gymnocalycium denudatum Kaiomaru’ is a select cultivar with extra long spines, which stretch across most of the stem surface of the plant.

Care Guide

These Gymnocalycium are somewhat sensitive to too much sunlight, and should be kept under 40-60% shade cloth depending on the amount of light the greenhouse receives every day. They are not fussy about their soil requirements, and any airy medium that drains well should work. Water often in the growing season, but keep these plants dry in winter.
