Where it grows
This is a hybrid plant that does not occur in nature.
This is a complex hybrid, produced by crossing plants related to Haworthia splendens, and involves genetics from the popular cultivar ‘Black Knight’.
Haworthia prefer filtered sun and these should be kept under at least 60% shade cloth. Their soil should be gritty to allow good drainage, and we recommend some Ibaraki Akadama or Hyuga pumice. Water well throughout the year, making sure the soil doesn’t stay dry for too long in the cooler months. Avoid watering on hot days in summer.

Out of stock
A variegated Agave cultivar with white, almost silver variegation running centrally through the leaves.
Pleiospilos nelii resembles stones that occur in its natural habitat, which is an adaptation called 'mimicry'. It is known as the 'split rock' plant.
This plant has rounded leaf edges, which is abnormal for 'retuse' Haworthia. Plants from this locality grow exceptionally large for this species.
This is a Haworthia cooperi hybrid cultivar. The leaves are shaped like a crystal, and have an attractive sheen when backlit by sunlight.
