Special features
xAloe ‘Black Gem’ is a hybrid between Aloe and Haworthia cymbiformis. The resulting hybrids retain the shape of an Aloe, but have the softer leaves of Haworthia. These particular plants have attractive yellow variegation. It does not produce flowers.
Care guide
This hybrid Aloe prefers somewhat shady conditions, and should be kept under 60% shade cloth at most. Its soil needs to be gritty and well draining, as it does not like its roots staying wet. Water it well throughout the year.
