At Living Desert Plants, we strive to offer excellent customer service and quality plants. No order is too small or too large for us, and there are no minimum order amounts. We offer a variety of different shipping methods when you place your order online, and we can ship anywhere in South Africa.
Payment
We accept payments with either Payfast or EFT. If using EFT please make the payment promptly and send us proof of payment.
Our packaging process
In order to ensure the safety of your plants, we do not send plants with pots or soil. Shipping plants ‘bare root’ prevents damage in transit in case the courier service is not gentle with your parcel. Pots and soil shown with the plants on our website are for display purposes only.
Your plants will be carefully wrapped and placed in securely in a box with plenty of plant-friendly packaging material.
Please note that there will be some soil left on the roots to make sure that the plants remain healthy in transit and so that they will acclimatize in their new home quickly.
We only send out orders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to prevent your plants from getting stuck in a warehouse over the weekend.
Courier Services offered
- The Courier Guy Overnight
- This courier service will deliver straight to your door for R150.
- This is the fastest and most reliable courier service in South Africa. Once your parcel is shipped, you can expect delivery in 1-2 days for main centers.
- PUDO
- This courier service is a subsidiary of The Courier Guy, and will deliver to the nearest PUDO Locker for R80.
- There is also an option to have it delivered to your door for R100. This is an economy service and takes 3-4 days.
- Please indicate which PUDO Locker location you prefer during checkout.
- The Courier Guy Cape Town
- We offer a special rate for local shipments in and around Cape Town using The Courier Guy at R80. Once your parcel is shipped, you can expect delivery the next day.
Collecting your order from the nursery
You are welcome to collect your order from the nursery in Stellenbosch.
