Calitzdorp Vetplantfees 2022

Living Desert Plants had a stall at the 5th annual Calitzdorp Vetplantfees between the 16th-18th of September 2022. The Calitzdorp Succulent Society hosted the event at the Calitzdorp Train Station.

Plenty of people made the trek to Calitzdorp to attend the event, and loads of plants found new homes. A variety of vendors from far and wide came to the venue to make their plants available to collectors. This included well known nurseries like Cactus 4 Africa, Rooiklip Nursery, Knechtsvlakte Kwekery, Cape Succulent Seeds and many more.

Harry took part in the much anticipated auctions, and came home with a massive Haworthia truncata (Horse’s Teeth succulent) cluster. Other highlights for his personal collection include a variegated Haworthia splendens ‘Princess Kazunomiya’ and variegated Crassula barklyi.

We are looking forward to the 2023 Calitzdorp Vetplantfees!
