Flower
The flower in the last photo is an example only. Plants for sale are not in flower.
Where it grows
This hybrid Crassula was created by crossing Crassula falcata and Crassula mesembrianthemopsis, and does not occur in nature.
Special features
The defining feature of ‘Morgan’s Beauty’, and the reason it is such a popular plant, is the large bunch of bright red to pink flowers that appear in summer. Each set of four leaves are tightly stacked on top of each other, and are rounded and silver-gray.
Care Guide
Though ‘Morgan’s Beauty’ can handle a bit more sun due to its Crassula falcata parentage, it is best to keep them in semi-shade if you want them to grow faster. We recommend 30-40% shade cloth to maintain a compact growth form. They should be planted in a soil medium that does not stay moist for more than a few days. Water often in winter and spring.
Growing season
Autumn and spring.
Propagation
Leaves and offsets.
