Orbea lutea is widespread in southern Africa, occurring in the northern provinces of South Africa, parts of central Namibia and various other countries.

Orbea lutea is a diminutive Stapeliad that forms dense mats over time. It produces star-shaped yellow flowers in late summer.
Care Guide
Orbea lutea prefers shady conditions and should be kept under 60% shadecloth. It should be planted in a well draining soil mix with some gritty components. Water well in spring and summer, but reduce watering during winter when it is dormant.
