This Aloe is native to the Cape provinces of South Africa.
Special features
Aloe arborescens,ย also known as the candelabra or krantz Aloe, is a large shrub-forming species that produces plenty of offshoots. It makes orange flowers.
This particular specimen has an attractive mix of yellow and white variegation.
Care guide
This Aloe prefers plenty of sunlight, and should be kept under 40% shade cloth at most, or be given full morning sun. Its soil needs to be gritty and well draining, as this species does not like its roots staying wet. Water it well throughout the year.
